Define signal meaning
A dry contact carries only an open/closed state. Verify what that state means from the machine electrical drawing and manufacturer documentation. Do not infer meanings such as running, fault, or ready.
Input wiring
Use the four NetRelay digital inputs with appropriate signal levels and reference conditions. If cable-break detection is required, normally closed logic and a suitable field circuit may be considered. Cable routing and isolation matter in electrically noisy environments.
Relay output and safety
The four relay outputs provide NO/NC/C contacts with a 250V/10A nominal rating. Do not use them in place of emergency stops, protective interlocks, or certified safety functions. Connect only to a dry-contact command point permitted by the machine control design.
Acceptance testing
Simulate every input and output individually, and verify that the system remains safe during power loss, network loss, and device restart. Record signal name, terminal number, normal state, and alarm logic in the commissioning form.
